An overview of best areas to stay in Da Nang with family
Your family can choose to stay in the city center on the bank of Han River or on My Khe Beach. The city center is a good area for an authentic atmosphere and local life. You’ll be within walking distance from major sights such as Han Market, Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge, and many affordable restaurants and cafes.
If your family wants to stay on the resort-style accommodation right on the beach, you can choose to stay on My Khe Beach, Non Nuoc Beach, and Son Tra peninsula. You can easily use Grab to get to the downtown area.
My Khe Beach is only a 10 minute taxi ride to the city center, while Non Nuoc Beach and Son Tra peninsula is a bit further away.

You can enjoy world-class facilities, a private beach, and spacious rooms with stunning ocean views. This property has many room types for all family sizes. You can choose from one to four villas with a private pool area. The Four-Bedroom Pool Villa with Ocean View can accommodate up to 12 family members.
InterContinental has a kids club and nanny service, which is the highlight for many families. Overall, this resort is a good base for a relaxing and luxury family vacation in Da Nang.

The Premier Village is a beautiful complex located in the Bac My An Beach area, 10 minutes drive from Han River and Dragon Bridge. I think this resort has a good location on the beach, not very far from the city center.
It has villas and rooms that have ocean views and garden views. Some villas have a private pool and a fully-equipped kitchen attached to it. Additionally, your family will have a private beach area with white sand and clean water. The beach has lots of sun loungers and bedchairs to use.
Children can play at the Kids club, parents can stay fit at the gym, relax at the spa, or enjoy a drink at the beachside club and restaurant.

3. Mandila Beach Hotel
Address: 218 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Da Nang.
I stayed for a few nights at Mandila and I think it is a good mid-range 4-star hotel on My Khe Beach. It has a good central location on the beach, just steps away from a range of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. You can find almost everything, on the backstreets, Ha Bong street, and the beachfront area.
You can wake up early in the morning to see the sun rise and observe local life. The beach is full of life in the early morning and late afternoon. You can go swimming, jogging, yoga, or watching local fishermen go fishing on the round colorful boat.
My room was basic but clean and had partial ocean views. They have a nice rooftop terrace with an infinity pool and sky lounge. Breakfast was lovely with a wide range of dishes including both Vietnam and Western food.

Pullman is a family-friendly resort conveniently located on My Khe Beach, only a few minutes drive from the city center. It provides world-class facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, a garden, a children’s playground, and a kids’ club. You can book connecting rooms, which is ideal for families of 4.
Pullman is a great place to stay in Da Nang for sightseeing and for beaches. You’ll be close to the vibrant area of An Thuong and My An area. Additionally, you can easily take Grab to explore the city center, and attractions such as Ba Na Hill, Marble Mountains, and Linh Ung pagoda.

Novotel is a 5-star hotel located in the city center of Da Nang on the bank of Han River. You’ll be an easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shops on Bach Dang street. You can even book a room that has views of Dragon Bridge, which is an iconic attraction of Da Nang.
From Novotel, you can easily explore the city on foot and by Grab. Attractions like Han Market, Han River, Con Market, Son Tra Night Market, and Vincom Mall are all within a short distance away.
I recommend looking at one-bed room and two-bedroom accommodation with kitchen and private balcony for views of Han River.

Your family can choose to stay in a villa that has a private pool and spa package. Parents can enjoy spa treatments and relaxing activities such as tai chi and yoga. Depending on the size of the family, you can choose one bedroom, two bed-rooms, or three bed-rooms villas.
This hotel is located quite close to the city center. It is only a few minutes drive away, while the beach is onsite. You can easily get around by using Grab.

Address: 3 Nguyen Van Linh, Da Nang, Vietnam.
Vanda is a good family-friendly hotel situated in a prime location right at the foot of Dragon River. If you want a central location and stunning views of the rivers and bridges, Vanda is a great choice. You will be steps away from famous attractions such as Han River, Dragon Bridge, Love bridge, and Han market.
You’ll be close to everything. Lots of trendy bars, restaurants, and cafes are located on Bach Dang Street and Tran Hung Dao Street, on the banks of Han River.
My room has stunning river views. The view of the Dragon was beautiful, especially at night when it was illuminated. Be sure to check out the Water and Fire show on this bridge at night around 9pm if you are in Da nang on weekend.
Vanda has a good-size swimming pool and a nice rooftop terrace with a sky bar. Breakfast was nice with a wide range of dishes including fresh fruits, and drinks.

Address: 162 Bach Dang Street, Da Nang, Vietnam.
Brilliant Hotel has a prime location in the middle of everything. It is on the famous Bach Dang street, on the bank of Han River. You’ll be within a short walk away from a range of restaurants, cafes, and shops.
Like many other high rises located along the Han River, you can choose a nice room with a balcony and views of the river. They have laundry services, but I recommend doing the laundry outside for the cheaper prices.

Address: 36-38 Lam Hoanh Street, Da Nang, Vietnam.
Sala is a popular mid-range hotel located within easy walking distance from the famous My Khe Beach. If your family wants to comfortably stay close to the beach, I recommend looking at Sala Hotel.
You can check the Two-Bedroom Apartment with Balcony. Some room rates included the Afternoon tea. If you want rooms with ocean views, you can pay a little bit more.
Not only close to the beach, you’ll also be close to a mini mart, and an easy walk to numerous restaurants. It has a nice rooftop bar and pool.

Address: 278 Vo Nguyen Giap, Da Nang, Vietnam
Haian is a great beach hotel conveniently located on Vo Nguyen Giap street, just a few steps from My Khe Beach. If you want to stay in a mid-range hotel that is close to the beach, Haian is a great option.
Similar to many other highrise hotels and apartments on the same street, Haian has a nice rooftop area with an infinite pool. You can find several coffee shops and restaurants in the beachfront area. For a cheaper price, head to the backstreets of the hotel.
