Hue City Center is the top area to stay in Hue with kids. This area is located along the banks of Huong River, directly across from the iconic Imperial Palace. It includes the area of Phu Hoi ward, Vinh Ninh ward, and Phu Nhuan ward.
Staying in the city center allows easy access to major tourist attractions and tourist amenities. You’ll be within walking distance from the Walking street, Huong River, and Truong Tien Bridge. You can easily take a Grab or guide tour to visit the citadel, royal tombs, and Thien Mu pagoda.
If your family are into nature and a bit of trekking, I highly recommend taking day trips to Bach Ma National park. You’ll have stunning views of the city, Hai Van Pass, and Tam Giang lagoon. You can enjoy swimming at a beautiful lake on the five lakes path, and check out the top of Do Quyen waterfall.

Conveniently located in the Downtown area, this 4-star hotel is only a short walking distance from the famous Huong River and Trang Tien bridge. You’ll also be close to many restaurants, bars, and shops. The walking street is only a short distance away.
White Lotus has all facilities for your comfortable stay. There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and bar with views of Hue City. The buffet breakfast was beautiful with local Hue food like Hue cake or Bun Bo Hue. There are also many international dishes, fresh fruits, and drinks.
My room was on the 12th floor and it had stunning city views. Room was clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with quality facilities such as beddings, pillows, and bathroom essentials.
You can choose to stay in family suites, or Two Connecting Double Rooms. If you pay a bit more, you can choose the room that has a view of the Perfume River.

Jade Scene Hotel is a family-friendly hotel in prime location on Nguyen Cong Tru street, with easy access to major sights and amenities. I had a good experience staying here and highly recommend it.
I arrived at the hotel very early in the morning. I just wanted to drop a suitcase and start exploring the city, but the staff let me check in and get into the room right away. They also help me organise tours to Bach Ma national back and store my luggage when checking out.
They have a lovely rooftop area with a swimming pool and stunning views of the city. The breakfast was delicious with many options, including both traditional Hue food and western dishes.
The family room with a balcony is quite spacious for families of 3 and 4. It is in a quiet street, but still within walking distance to the nightlife areas of Vo Thi Sau and Pham Ngu Lao area.
