Nha Trang is a popular beach city located in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, only 1 hour flight from Ho Chi Minh City. It is known for its white sandy beaches, great seafood, interesting cultural attractions, and the healing mud baths.
This beach city has warm weather all year round, with average temperature around 26°C. The city has two seasons, the dry season (from January to August) and the rainy season (from September to December). In October and November, this city can experience heavy rain and tropical storms.
When is the best time to visit Nha Trang?

The dry season (January to August) is the best time to visit Nha Trang because it has many sunny days and with little rain, making it perfect for beach activities and sightseeing. Be mindful that July and August are the two hottest months of the year, with temperature sometimes reaching 40°C.
If you are visiting Nha Trang in the rainy season, I recommend always keeping an eye on the weather forecast as tropical storms and typhoons can happen during these months. It can be a good period for traveling on a budget and these storms can also interrupt your travel plans.
